Black screen crashes- i tried everything

I've been trying to make my game work for about 2 weeks.

It worked on the same computer with the same sound/video cards about 4 months ago.

I Installed the game about 5 times.

Edited ini file, installed obse, unpffical oblivion patch, SI and alterntive start (both of them sepertly), and also wrye bash.

I dont use any other mods for now.

i also updated my drivers a 1000 times. i deleted them and got new ones today,

I also made sure HDR lightning is off and all of the shadows settings on 0 also. i made sure there is little view distance....

 

The crashes aren't specific at all...

 

I don't know what is there left 2 do. PLEASE. help

This is usually hardware related.

 

Check CPU & GPU Temps. You might want to make sure the inside of the computer is clean, all fans are running, and all fan blades are clean.

 

You can try leaving the side of the case off and aiming a fan into it too.

 

One other thing, is if the harddisk is badly fragmented, Oblivion will sometimes, errr, loose it's place, so to speak.

 

A defrag might be in order.

 

Another comment, when you decide to uninstall & reinstall a big, graphics intensive game, it's a real good idea to run a disk cleanup and a defrag, BEFORE you reinstall.

I think this will help: i now remember i saw a monster in the field called imp or ghoul or something, it was grey with red eyes and it shot fore and lightning at me.

I think its something left form MMM, which i deleted. This may be the problem.

I will try it and tell u if it worked tomorrow/

i unistalled. used defrag +ccleaner

i installed oblivion with alt start. no SI yet, no patch etc.

I played for about 30 mins (a record) but than it crashed again after i got to jail for the 3rd time(the first and second time went smooth)

My all computer screen became small and wierd:

This is pretty likely to be a Graphics card issue.

 

Wait. Did it reset your font size, but leave resolution intact?

 

If you reboot from this screen, does everything return to normal, ie resolution and font sizes

yea. after reboot it was ok. this happens to me after games crash sometimes....

as you can see in the picture, It changed my resolution and didn't change the fonts...

 

maybe the card just heated too much?

if kinda got better (but not all the way) so i installed FCOM.

It works and i can use all the changes. weye bash shows everything is alright.

but still there is crashes after 10-30 minutes, so i guess that wasn't the problem.

My computer is not hot, its kinds cold.

 

any other ideas ?

update: i reinstalled and cleaned the registery.

installed again. than unofficial patch. si, unofficial si patch, official patch, wrye bash, alt start, nnvidia black screen fix, BOSS.

didn't install any mod other than altstart and didn't use OBSE

 

it still goes black screen after some minutes... this time i didn't restart but just waited,..after some seconds the screen shoes a msg about graphic error with nv4_disp i think abd it was like the picture i posted above...
