cj577 Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Hiya, this is a custom texture I created for the Reception Counter,My question is why is there areas that are the color there supposed to be and then the other areas are way to light? Is this because of different textures on original mesh and mine when applied went dark where it was suppose to, and light where existing light colors were suppose to? neunen Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 or possibly is the bar made up of separate blocks? if so, it almost looks like maybe you duplicated some of the pieces but forgot to move them away..but them i guess you would see flickering if that were the case. cj577 Posted April 3, 2009 Author Share Posted April 3, 2009 or possibly is the bar made up of separate blocks? if so, it almost looks like maybe you duplicated some of the pieces but forgot to move them away..but them i guess you would see flickering if that were the case. yeah I have a good norm map, and the bar it's one piece in section like the straight part and then the left curve and right curve, but I took and used a darker wood color on it and it fixed it now its all uniform, but now u can really tell its sections cause you can see a black line where they joined the pieces lol oh well I can live with that.
