thelawofl
Lately I've been getting I/O error 1392. I am aware this is a windows error and I should look elsewhere for a fix on it however; the error itself is not my issue. After installing the latest vortex update I had to reactivate my fallout 4 mods. Halfway through the activation, I get the error popup and cannot remove it. I've tried pressing every single button on the popup and it simply will not go away. My theory is that after I dismiss the popup, the software continues to try access the folder that has the error. Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated
Guest deleted34304850
its not a windows error either. the message is clear - either the disk has a problem, in which case the solution is to replace the disk with a new one, or its a removable drive you've removed.you're probably right that the message is coming back because the program is not getting the signal it needs from the disk that it should move on .... how to stop it coming up? reboot your machine, don't invoke vortex and pretend everything is hunky dory.
