JakubDaviau
I have been trying to work with meshes for both skyrim and oblivion for some time now but i seem to encounter more and more errors, so i decided to just focus on something easier like making non animated simple model and implementing it in game. I am lately playing morrowind and making house mod for it. However when i try to do anything i get a bunch of problems. For instance i tried to make simple test object in 3DS Max and then export it into nif file, and so i did, but when i tried using it in construction set i have got error massage: Model Load Error: cannot find create function BSFadeNode in Meshes\thing.nifWill use the default object Marker_Error.Nif I have no idea what BSFadeNode is and what is the deal with it, i just wanted to make static object for morrowind. Anyway, since this didn't work i took different approach, i made different object and saved it as .3ds file, then i loaded it into niftools and saved it as nif file, but when i tried to use that in creation kit i have got completely different error massage: Model Load Error: is not a NIF file in Meshes\thing.nif.Will use the default object Marker_Error.NIF. So apparently now nif file is not really a nif file, maybe its an impostor or something lol. I am using 3DS Max 2012 with this plugin: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40209//? FOR SHORT (or TL;DR version) - does anyone know any tutorials about how to get static objects made in 3DS Max into morrowind?
JakubDaviau
I think i found solution. I was exporting this thing into nif with BSFadenode thing, when i used NiNode setting instead the mesh showed up in construction set, though it was all white since it didn't have any textures. Now i just need to figure out how to apply textures to mesh, if anyone have some tutorials on it i would be thankfull :)
