buddah
The custom race fix, enables you to start eh MQ and exit the sewers, without it the man across the hall will not talk to you and start you on your way. If you are using omods, make sure they are activated (blue).
wiredadex
Yeah, that didn't seem to work. When I used the archive I specified to create an OMOD it made an .esp file, which is warned against me deactivating. Either way, I started the game with that being the only omod activated and I still could not find the new races in the character creation screen. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help folks. buddah
I don't use that mod, but let me download it and see if I can help, take about 5 minutes.
buddah
Ok, I downloaded the mod, created an omod, activated it and launched with no problem, the corean race did show up in my game. Delete the current OMOD, redownload the mod again and create a new OMOD. Something may have gone wrong before. When you activate it it will turn blue and the esp file will show up with an X in the box.If you get it going, close the game and enable the custom race fix and start over and create a character to your liking. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in an earlier post I've been able to create omods by installing HGEC, EC, and Colourwheel's clothing mod. I will however follow your directions exactly when I retry it this evening. Thanks again for your post, now theres a great clear guideline for others as well as myself! wiredadex
Great news! I got it to show the new races. The problem was with my version of oblivion. I reinstalled, patched it, and then followed your instructions about making the Corean mod into an omod, and they worked! This is fantastic! Thanks again everyone for your help, I hope others who come here get the same treatment, or even find solutions in this thread. Just as a note: You need the most updated version of oblivion for everything to appear properly. By the way, any suggestion for changing the females of the existing races to something significantly easier on the eyes? I'd like to wander around the game and be greeted with hotties.
