Hello,

I am new to this mod and don't know "diddlysqaut" on how to run or make or create mods?.... But anyways, I've tried going through the "Kvatch Rebuilt" instructions and I'm half way there, but when it says to "activate BOTH the .esp and .esm files" I tried doing that but it gives me this "Windows cannot open this file. Windows does not have to appropriate file to open it blah blah.." So, can any one help a poor old peasant (noob)?

:wallbash:

Sorry if this post made you think "what a dumb.......peasant (noob)." I'll start working on it....

ok,click create omod, add the mod name and author where indicated.

then click add archive, the mod will then be broken down automatically. When its ready you'll see some writing in the big box under file path

Then click create omod, answer yes and omod will be created.

you'll get a green square in your mod list, click on it and then click activate!

all done! mod is now active

Read my article on how to install mods here http://tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=211

This will teach you how to properly install almost every mod.

Ok...

I've might of done something in the beginning that wasn't supposed to happen... maybe. And again, this would be the first mod I've done.

So, I extract the files to data base... Which is where...?

I've posted this right after I saw KottonKing's post. But thank you very much KottonKing, this will help.

If you install your mods manually you will encounter more than enough problems. If you read my article and use the OBMM, which is used in my article, you will be able to install mods with little to no problems.
