bgrunge Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Ok I'm working on a mod right now to replace the blackhawk magnum with vash the stampede's revolver. I have the gun imported, and it fires fine but theres a problem. When the reload animation is executed it translates the grouping node that is rotated as part of the animation up in the y axis. Now, in nifskope i repositioned this node to the new location of the break joint in the gun, and the animation looks perfectly fine there. But in game, it moves that node back to its original position, leaving me with a gun that has the cylinder and barrel magically floating above the handle. What I'm guessing is that the game uses a separate animation from the one included with the .nif, and that whoever made this animation keyed the translational attributes as well as the rotational ones. So heres the question. How do I export the reload animations from fallout 3 so that I can delete the translational keys? Or does anyone know another way to fix this problem? B/c if the game wasnt moving that freaking node, everything would work fine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
