Sunjah
I know there are some mods that add teleporters to the Mages' Guilds, but I have not found any that specifically charge the amounts I would like. I have not worked with the TES Construction set at all, but if someone know how to change variables I would be forever grateful. The ones I did try were the "Cyrodiil Transportation Network," which I didn't like because it enabled all fast travel (even though I had a mod to prevent it), and the *.esp named "MagesGuildTravel," which is exactly what I want except they charged 50$ per trip. What I would love is the MagesGuildTravel esp, but have it be more like $5,000 as an associate, $4,500 as an apprentice, $4,000 for the next rank and so on. I don't want any fast travel, but if I happen to have tons of wealth at the moment, and I am near a city to use these teleports, that would work. If it needed to be set at 5,000 a trip (with no incremental lowering of price), I could certainly deal with that. So the mods are there, but I want one that really charges me to take a portal to another city. That way, they will only be used in dire emergencies or if I have an excellent cash flow at the moment. If any one is able to do this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Link to the one that charged $50 a ride (I believe, and the author says he will add to it later but apparantly never did):http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3393 Link to another cool one (but no mention of money at all):http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...ail&id=3347 really, teleport pads in all the Mage Guilds (with Arcane University as a hub, seems logical and a lot of mods have it that way) with a substantial price is what I am hoping for. There can be a decrease in price as status rises or not (cool if it is in, but definitely liveable if not).
AzirAphale001
It should be fairly easy to increase the price that needs to be paid. But I'm in school just now, so I can't do anything.I'll have a look at it as soon as I can.
Sunjah
It should be fairly easy to increase the price that needs to be paid. But I'm in school just now, so I can't do anything.I'll have a look at it as soon as I can.If you could do it that would be great. As I said, just the portal-system-teleport-pads and a good price to start with (by good I mean expensive). If periodic lowering of prices is possible, all the better, but certainly not a requirement. Thanks for having a look!

Pronam
That is fairly easy to do. I'll can take some time for it in half a day from now. Perhaps earlier. But would you like to have it to be dealt with npc's (non-voice), just portals that request money for any travel (messagebox), or perhaps even a mini chest/container which asks money before you can use the portals  Give some specifics and we could create a nice mod. Unless AzirAphale001 is busy already, time's valuable.. One in each city (and maybe changed a bit for Bruma's problem), and a hub in a room off of the arcane university lobby. There is that one teleport pad in the lobby of Arcane U, maybe a door in the wall to the right of that pad that leads to a stairway down and then a room with portals to each of the Mage's Guilds in the different cities. One mage (non-voice is fine) standing there and when you speak to them they say "$x,xxx" amount to go to "XXX." One of these mods already has most of it, I believe, I just want it to be $5,000 or more per trip. Prices could change depending on distance (Anvil to Cheydinall more expensive than IC to Bruma; much shorter), and could also lessen as you advance in Mage Guild status. Of course, if all prices never changed, but were expensive from the start, that would be fine, too. Not too picky about that part. So specifics: *Central-Hub teleport room, with access from Arcane University lobby*One teleport-pad in the lobby of each Mage's Guild*High priced ($5,000 or more to start)*Mage always on duty to ask for destination and collect fee (can be same person or change, like guards do sometimes)*Price can go down for distance or as levels are gained in Guild, but it should still cost a good amount so it is a "luxury," not 50 Gold and your half-way across the country *!!MINI-SPOILER!! ahead... I know that something happens with the Bruma's Mages Guild (what? not sure, but have found it out looking for this mod), which can mess with their teleporter-pad and it brings you to "real-world space" inside Bruma...which, of course, must be traveled through by gate to REALLY get to the inner city, so instead you end up in the inner husk of Bruma (and I know there is nothing really there). If that can be worked around in-mod, great, if not, maybe put their chamber location up in Cloud Ruler Temple, or outside the Mage's Guild so whatever goes wrong won't kill the pad working properly. The temple in Bruma maybe? Or maybe the leader of Bruma made a special request of the Mage Guild to put their portal inside a specific room located in the Royal Palace for some reason or another. Anything is fine to work around this "change" that happens to Bruma's Guild at some point. Wow, just writing about this I really hope it can be done. I would be really psyched to have it in there. I liked the Cyrodiil transportation network, except that even though I disabled fast traveling, that mod reenabled it and I hate that. I only wanted the mod for the Teleport, I don't like fast travel and want it disabled. This would make sense, though, they are Mages, and they are charging for it to make it worthwhile. Thanks for checking this out! Let me know if I can do anything to help.
darkjaffar
Wouldn't loading a disable fast travel mod after the Cyrodiil transportation network re-disable fast traveling? That is, assuming you were satisfied with Cyrodiil transportation network itself.

That is, assuming you were satisfied with Cyrodiil transportation network itself. That is what I thought, too, but when I tested it I could go to Fort Ash from Bruma using just the "fast travel" mode. I was bummed and disabled the whole mod.
Pronam
Alright, that should get me started. I'll upload some screenshots when I've made some progress.
Pronam
hm.. most of the time placing a portal requires deleting other objects, because of the space it needs and still it's all pretty tight then. ...Would you mind if I replaced the portals by trigger zones? Going to a mage's guild member and paying the fee takes most of the interaction. And if I'm right most guilds have a circle ( those yellow ones, sometimes a ornamental-circle). So, if you paid and stand inside the circle, you are sent to the desired location instead of using a portal to do this. I already made a room with portals in the Arcane University, but It would save some space of course. With trigger zone's, only (visibly) a NPC has to be placed in every town guild hall. Is that all right? I don't mind to continue with the portals, but it would leave more original objects intact.
