Dyndolod 3.0 -

Hi all,

 

Wanted to try DynDOLOD 3.0, but despite having used 2.0 without any issues so often, I can't get 3.0 to work..

• I downloaded the resources here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/52897?tab=files

It's version Alpha-24, the only one showing.

• I also downloaded Dyndolod Standalone here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32382?tab=files

However, it's verison Alpha-88, again, the only one showing.

 

Added both Texgen and DynDOLOD with the proper -sse parameter to Mod Organizer 2.

• Texgen generation went well, no issues, no errors.
• DynDOLOD itself however doesnt, as my "DynDOLOD Resouces SE core files are newer then DynDOLOD Standalone. Use DynDOLOD Standalone 3.00 or newer.

I went to the official DynDOLOD page, went to downloads section, followed the links provided, which both link to the exact same NEXUS pages I came from. Figured I'd remove what I had, reinstalled everything anew, yet the error persists. Is the file uploaded to Nexus simply incorrect or out of date?

Anyone have any clue? What am I doing wrong?

EDIT2 : just ran Dyndolod 2.0 and it worked flawlessly

Thank you, but that's the one I downloaded: the one under Miscelaneous, the Alpha-88 version.
So I would expect, it's upload date being April 14th, to be newer than resources 3.0, which's upload date is April 1st.

Resources aren't changed with every new build of Dyndolod Alpha. The latest version of Dyndolod Resources 3 is 3.24. It will work with Dyndolod Alpha 3.88. Don't worry.

2. Downloaded Dyndolod 3, installed it and activated it.

5. Packed the output, added it to Mod Organizer, activated it.
6. Launched Dyndolod.. 'resources is newer than Dyndolod' error

Sorry, no clue. TBH, I'm guessing that this could be a problem with MO2. Unfortunately I can't help you with that - I've been a Vortex user for years. So, no idea, if your use of Dyndolod in MO2 is correct or not.
