Convenient horses problem

Im having some trouble with convenient horses, i have posted this question on a steam forum but i am not getting any responses. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have just removed the subscribed version of this mod from Steam and installed the new version via Nexus Mod Manager. I have Convenient Horses.esp checked in the plugins section.

I load the game via SKSE

I don't have the ability Convenient Horses in my spells list.

I typed GetQr CH in the console and got the following message
GetQuestRunning >> 0.00

any ideas?

 

Just wanted to add i have uninstalled and reinstalled the add on and i still do not have access to the spell in my spell list

before i unsubscribed from steam i had the spell in my spell list, but now that i have the new version from nexus i dont have the spell convenient horses at all.

Did you purchase a Horse Horn? The horn is needed to add the Horse Call to your Magic > Powers menu. You need to practice the Whistle on NPCs before you get the Whistle for Horse ability.

Thanks for the response Moonwulf. i got it going. i had to stop the script save etc uninstall the mod, reinstall the mod then use the console startquest ch (i think that was it) code.

Hi so I've been having similar problems with this mod. But I've gotten the horn and done the whistling thing. The only problem I have is I cannot buy the pack needed for the horse herd. It never shows up. I've gone as far as trying to talk to the maker of the mod but even he won't actually help. Anyone know anything that can help?

I am receiving no dialogue options for followers to ride horses and they're not riding on their own or summoning horses. I'm using Eff, inconsequential, interesting npc and immersive citizen ai overhaul
