Questions - making new races

Right, gonna go and make myself look dumb or somethin.

 

Ok, first of all, I know *nothing* about the CS. And this isn't really a request for a plugin, but a request for instructions on how to make one. A good one. I'd prolly recycle the heads I've already got 'n everything.

 

What I want is to create a race out of an rpg I do with some friends, the Vamplock. That's combination vampire/warlock, and if ya think that's totally dorky, that's fine with me. If it sounds cool, that's fine too. ^^ As near as I can figure, a Vamplock would have bonuses in Destruction, Mysticism, Intelligence, Willpower, and I guess Long Blade. They generally just use magic but having some other weapon is good too. Vamplocks are known for helluva lot of aggression, so Personality, Speechcraft, and Mercantile would be low. Strength 'n Unarmored skills would be low as well since they're mainly into blowin stuff up. Basically there'd be some vampire advantages 'n some warlock advantages, and some disadvantages from both.

 

And now I shall be really weird. I'm not plannin to stick in a bunch of NPC's/quests/whatever, tho maybe I could. All I really want this for is for one character that I'd like to play in the game. He's the last of his kind anyway, so it's all good. Not that the fact makes him uber-special or anything, y'know. He just is. Here's where I'd prolly run into a problem - he's not like other vamplocks. Almost completely non-aggressive (as in a total sweetie most of the time), his magic skills are crap, he's helluva lot bigger (and therefore slower) and stronger than most, and he uses weapons that other vamplocks don't bother with (*really* big battle axe 'n equally big club). It may be a problem, it may not. I dunno.

 

I figure I'd have him be under the Atronach for the stunted magicka, and that's about as far as I've gotten. And he'd be a smith (yay for the class unlock plug!). I don't know how I'd balance out the personality stuff. I guess it'd be like "Yeah, he's a nice guy...wait, he's a vamplock?? KILL!!" sorta thing, just not that extreme. Vamplocks weren't liked, mainly because they really really liked goin around 'n killing people with gleeful abandon and such.

 

So that's all I can think of. Sorry for this bein so long 'n stuff. Hope I made sense. ^^;; Any help at all is muchly appreciated.
