Bizarre crashing that I can't figure out!

I have been playing on a modded save for a couple of weeks and everything has been working fine, but suddenly I'll get what looks like a black screen. The game loads up normally and I can select what save to load, but upon loading the game I'm met with a black screen and I can hear a window's error sound. I can't close the game to read the error message unfortunately, because the unresponsive game prevents me from being able to do anything. I can't check the crash log because it won't even produce one upon encountering this error. Everything appears to be fine- no errors on Vortex or LOOT, no warnings from FNIS, I even did the "disable all 71 of your mods and painstakingly check each and every one of them to see if they cause the crash" technique, all for nothing. If anyone can suggest a potential fix I would greatly appreciate it.

I have had this error too. I know of no fix but to load an earlier save.

 

But you can try this: load a save that works, then when you have done so and entered the game, load the save which goes black, and maybe it will work.
