OMG! I sarted up Oblivion mod manager today and when i went to start oblivion stupid f*#@ing avast antivirus detected oblivion or oblivion mod manager as some kind of threat all of a sudden after ive been playing for well over two months now. And now whenever I try to open OMM I get a message that says:

" Oblivion mod manager must be installed to oblivions base directory. If you have removed or renamed 'oblivion_defalt.ini' please replace it".

I assumed that means avast deleted my Oblivion_defalt.ini but I cecked my directory and its still there and avast has no record of deleting it.I also have wyrebash installed and now it won't even start up. Can anyone help me? I can't loose two months worth of progress!

Naw I disabled avast right after the incident then did a full system scan with avast and malwarebites. i tried reinstalling oblivion several time and kept getting bink32 codec errors but was able to fix it eventually. now whenever i start oblivion from

OBMM, wyrebash or the launcher.exe i just get a black screen and then CTD. at this point, i think im might just do a fresh install of the OS(if anything to get rid of this horrid windows 8) is it possible to back up my save files and data folder and transfer them over to the new OS so i wont have to reinstall all my mods?
