asphyxied
Hey, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, but I'm having problems finishing downloads from Fallout3Nexus.com. Basically most of my downloads (for the bigger files) are stuck at 99%. At first I thought it might be because I was using a download manager (Internet Download Manager) but I disabled it and used both the Firefox and Internet Explorer default download methods. But the problem keeps re-occurring. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance.
buddah
Try a different server. See if it happens again. Which file and which server are you trying to download from. I will check to see if it is a site issue or a problem on your end. Is this a new problem, or have you always had this issue? Buddah
jaosals42
I'd suggest checking your computer's security levels as well. If they're too high, the settings will block many simple activities from other sites. Also, do you have a outdated versions of Firefox and IE? If so, you should consider updating it to a more recent version.

bben46
@kavatchkingI have a set of help files for people new to mods. They include downloading, extracting (unzipping) installing and activating mods. I have included a sample mod to practice on and instructions for installing and using 7-zip. If you are interested, click on the highlighted link below to be taken to the site where they are kept. I recommend starting with #1 and working your way through them. It would be a good idea to start your own topic The proper place would be Oblivion (or FO3) technical support. Rather than piggybacking onto someone elses. Your question could get lost, and it is against the rules of the site (Thread hijacking)Bben46, Moderator

pat_loonytoon
I have the same problem as asphyxied as small files download fine but larger ones tend to get stuck halfway and there is no file resuming. I've tried different browsers and always have the same problem. Sometimes there is no alternate server too so I can't switch unless I get a pro. account. This thread still doesn't have a legit answer so any help would be great as I have many mods I want but are too large. (I'm on a 5 meg. connection too  ) :thanks:
