99luftbalons
Uhhh... That's funny, now that you don't want it I'm actually finished with the ring. So, if anyone does want it I'll be putting it in my ongoing chest o weapons mod. I just have to put the enchantments on, it looks pretty nice. I'm gonna go ahead and insert the images on the file, but I'll probably finish it tomorrow sometime. Please at least check it out, took quite some time to get working. Thanks Oh, wow. I feel kind of bad now, because you actually went and did it and then I said I didn't want it. I will download it, of course. It still makes sense that he'd have it, and I know that now that it's available I'll have a good reason somewhere for him to wear it.Thank you very much for making it. :D
Palpenious
Sure, I guess I could have said something before making it, but I really just did it in a night. Also, I never got that far in Morrowind, so I had to go find a picture to go by. Anyway, hope you like it. As far as the ring killing anyone but Nerevar, would Azura not be able to bless another to wear the ring? Did she have to do so for the character in Morrowind, or was just being named the Nerevarine good enough?
ihateregisteringeverywhere
The thing is that your character in morrowind was Nerevar, the moon and star - reborn. Sort of. You see, you kind of became Nerevar and what was Nerevar got enriched by what is you by fulfilling the prophecy.
Palpenious
But since the prophecy was fulfilled, and there is no longer a need for another reincarnation of Nerevar, would it make any since to have a mission to be blessed by Azura and have the ring passed to you? From the quote it seems it was just a ring before she put hands on it, it was her blessing that made it suitable for Nerevar alone right? If I'm just grasping at straws here, let me know and I'll drop it and just leave the thing as it is.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
Ah, that sounds reasonable, might do for a nice quest. "But he no longer needs it, I'm glad you brought it to me. I could let you keep it and make it suitable to wear for everyone, if only you do something small for me" The ring could become Azura's artefact she'd give out to different heroes along the course of history. It wouldn't be the first time something similar happened.
