(Clone Test Lab) NPCs with blank name, can't talk to them

G'day,

 

I've been wanting to play the Clone Test Lab by fcterryb again, but the clones keep spawning in with no names, I can't talk to them so I can't command them. This is a seriously game-breaking bug when it comes to that mod.

 

Does anyone know what is causing that problem? I'm running the latest xNVSE, so I'm wondering if there's a problem with that.

 

I'm using Mod Orrganiser 2, if that's any reason why it's screwing up.

I've tried using different esm and esp, reinstalling, verifying cache, nothing gets it to work.
