LastSasquatch
My play style in Skyrim is never to save manually, and to disable autosave on character menu and autosave on wait and sleep. It adds a lot of tension to the game because if I can't get to a door to change location then I can't save and will lose upwards of an hour of progress if I die. In short, it makes me really not want to die, which is how I like playing. The only problem is, my game also frequently crashes to desktop. I've follow all number of guides and did every step on the Skyrim Project Stability page, but I'm still getting crashes. Even if I tell myself when I save, "This is only for you to load if you crash, not if you die," it still ruins the tenseness of the situation because I know that nothing is forcing me not to load it, and if I got extra frustrated I could just load that save anyway. And so I've been playing the way I normally do, without saving except for on change of location, and game crashes are driving me insane. I would love a mod that autosaved once ever two to three minutes, always saving over the same file, but that automatically got deleted on death. That would give me something to load when my game does actually crash, but wouldn't ruin that intense feeling of knowing there's no way to recover my progress if I were killed. I would be extremely grateful for anyone who made this up for me!
