DrMobiusJr
this might take a little bit to explain, 1) i can download and use other peoples mods fine2) i can not use my own mods that i make in the geck-i save them to my data file and then load up newvegas and it doesn't show up in the data files where you can toggle whats on-i can not see them appearing in the data file if i go there myself, i go to my c drive and navigate through to the new vegas data file but only DLC and mods that i download- i can go to the same location in the geck when im saving and it shows everything including my mods3) im using the ultimate edition if that effects anything at all\4) i can use the geck and what not but i cant load any saved plugins and i cant find them anywhere on my computer other then when using the geck. i really have no idea what to do and i really want to mod this game, i love to make content and this is just stopping me from doing anything. so any help would be great. Ladez
I don't really know why this could be. You're absolutely sure that the geck uses the same folder as your mods are in? You could try to install Fallout Mod Manager to see if that can detect the plugins.
DrMobiusJr
yes i am 100% sure that i am saving them in the same place, same place where i put the mods i download
ma1025
Run a search of your folders using the name of one of your mods and when it comes up, see where the folder is located.
DrMobiusJr
But that's just it, they don't appear at all even if I search them, only the geck seems to be able to detect them

Ladez
If you can save you mods from the GECK, close it, and open them again later, they must be stored somewhere. Have you tried searching your entire drive for the file name or did you just search a particular folder?
DrMobiusJr
I searched my entire drive the only thing that I can find are actual shortcuts to the files, and then I open source and it just brings me to resent files
blove
Sounds like a User Account Control issue. Try running GECK as administrator.
