I need help?

I need a program that i can create textures with for a mod idea that I have any suggestions? And also how do you use original icons in morrowind.

You can use any image editing software that you like realy (but i wouldnt advise ms paint) personaly i use paint shop pro 8, and if i want to i convert them to dds or tga with a program called ddscv you could get this from here: http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/DDS_converter;17082

or just search on google.

And also how do you use original icons in morrowind.

Not sure what you mean, but if you want to use original morrowind textures for one of your items, then check your CS cd and they should be on there, i cant realy be bothered to say anything else, my fingers are hurting.(I have been sitting here reading nearly every simgle post on these forums.)

how do i actually re-texture an item, like how currymonkey did all those daedric and glass colours? do i need 3DSM
