ricechex Posted October 5, 2013 Share Posted October 5, 2013 Okay,so I had this idea for a neat quest in skyrim where you download a mod that would send you on a quest to find all the missing pieces of a godlike weapon.However,after navigating through a draugr filled dungeon,you find one piece with a note that doesn't make sense.You find someone who can decrypt it and they tell you it reads "One can only find the missing pieces amongst the source of all foreign goods.The nexus of skyrim is to be visited soon ~Asgalifiir".The player would have to find a "mod" on the nexus with a link to the mod containing the next piece of the weapon.Each piece contains a letter with a riddle and no quest markers,and the idea would require multiple users to upload a piece of the mod to keep people from cheating. It may be difficult to do through the means you plan, however, because it would require ghost mods, which aren't accepted here... It may be easier to name the mods something radically different, and write the name of the next part in code so people need to have it translated (or google it) to find out what the next part is. mordochai Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) i personally dont think it would be awsome to have a mod that goes outside of the universe (and stringing other mods to it) it is playing in (skyrim)although it would be nice to have an epic search for ingredients and parts of an armor set with weapons and all - alltogether a nice long guestline with lots of searching in deep doungeons (without the "here i am in this corner!" marker but a note telling crypticly what dungeon its in) and in the end an epic hermit master smith that has quests of his own - not to forget the epic smithing of the weapon itself (meaning the master smith with his own animation of how hes smithing it) with lots of fire and magic and effects and bling and so on the armor itself could also have an awsome unique effect on it, something like a force explosion that goes off when the soul stealing axe/sword/watever of the same set charges up the enchantment just some light fantasising Edited October 7, 2013 by mordochai Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
