About uninstalling mods

Hi, I tried searching for this but I didn't find it.

I installed Horizon for Fallout 4 using Vortex.

I want to uninstall it and play the regular game for a while.

I don't want to delete Horizon from my computer.

Can I do that?

What do I press in vortex to do that? I am just worried that I will delete the mod and have to download it again when I want to play it again...

(obviously this is like the number one asked question but I searched the Vortex forum and "uninstall" and "mods" just gets an ocean of unrelated topics)

Go to mod page in Vortex.

Click on Enabled button next to Horizon. That disables it.

Click Deploy.

Done. Now run a save prior to ever enabling Horizon. Any save after that is effectively broken; mod traces linger in saves.

And a strong suggestion: Clone your default Fallout 4 profile. Call it Horizon. Select separate saves and ini.

Import some of your Horizon saves to that profile.

Now, whenever you get the urge, you can play Horizon just by selecting that profile. That is what profiles are for.
