TheTrueNightProwler
Hey Nexus, I installed a mod of yours and now suddenly my skyrim won't work. How do I take it off. I clicked to uninstall the files and NOTHING happened, multiple times I tried this same thing. Help me.
apieperson
Go to your game directory (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\ or C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\ if you have a 64 bit os) and delete the .esp or .esm of the mod you downloaded. Also, it may help to know which mod you installed.
Preliops
Why won't your Skyrim work? Does it crash to your desktop after the bethesda logo?
BlackRoseOfThorns
You probably didn't read mod description. Some mods require skse and Bethesda dlc's. Also not installing the right patches for dlc and not sorting the load order may cause trouble. I highly suggest checking Gopher guide to modding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxQ1JN_X-_Y&list=PLE7DlYarj-DdhDG41roBVJfNCqvO5MmKP&index=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QinA4qD6hXM It also explains how to remove mods. PS: All the mods are done by Skyrim fans. Nexus is just providing a place for authors to upload their work, so don't expect technical support for each and every mod here on the forum. Go check your mod page and see if there is possibly a FAQ (main page or sticky in comments section).
