Gigashady
Hi, I have a "small" problem with Blender.I was re-meshing the OutfitOasisVillager which looked like this:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y62/gigashady/GeckVillClean.png I made a minor edit (I just edited the foot part, you won't see the difference and it isn't the problem)The problem is that, as I saved it and went to GECK, the result was this:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y62/gigashady/GeckVillProblem.png The skin part is showing, unlike the Original OasisVillager which had a Blank/Black skin. This one already has a skin, causing a difference between the body and the head.. and fingers.In-turn would look like this:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y62/gigashady/BleCKProblem.png Also, I'm thinking that the NIF export option in blender caused the problem because I dont know which options to go for, as for a clothing/armor.If you know which one to go for, please let me know, this would be a great step for me and everyone in 3D animation. Here are the options:http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y62/gigashady/BlenderNIFexportOp.png Please let me know what I was doing wrong. Thanks and Cheers!
DogtoothCG
while in nifskope, try selecting the skins material editor slot, and type in "skin" in material type, this will make that mesh conform to whichever races texture your player character is. Gigashady
I see where you are getting at but, I dont seem to find this, Skins material editor slot that you speak of.Would you mind telling me where I can find this editor slot? A direction or an example would be a good help. =] Thanks! ========Okay, after 4 hours of trying to figure out this "Material Type" you're talking about and typing "skin" in NifSkope.. I am totally lost and confused.Because I can't "find" it.I compared the original and the edited's block lists, and the edited is almost completely different and/or disorganized. Dx So, I thought I'd look back if that had to do with the exporting options in Blender, of which I dont know of.>_< HELP!
