Help: Issue with mods appearing

Hi all,

I have a problem where whenever I launch the game none of my mods load. I have no error messages or SMAPI error logs it just simply launches vanilla stardew no matter what I seem to do. I am new to modding stardew so its very likely I just forgot an important step but if anyone could give some assistance that would be great.

Hi.. could you please submit a log? The link will give you instructions on how to do this.

That's the problem. There is no log. When I follow the instructions to get one the only thing that shows up is a crash report from years ago.

okay... so that means you need to ensure your versions are right.. what SMAPI version and SDV version do you have.

SMAPI is 3.14.4 and SDV is 1.5.6.22018

update SMAPI to 3.14.5

see if that helps

just tried and it made no difference. still launches as vanilla

if it's launching vanilla then you're not launching SMAPI

That could be it. I'm very new to this so sorry if that ends up being the problem.

Well.. to ensure it's the problem or not.. go to you Stardew Valley folder and run StardewModdingAPI.exe.
