Gamesave auto numeration

I save:

 

Save 1 - Char A

Save 2 - Char A

Save 3 - Char A

 

if I delete 2 and 3, and even if I create a new character! nex time continue on 4 and let this:

 

Save 1 - Char A

Save 4 - Char B

 

any way to make the game save acording the files real numeration? where is located the 'internal savegame count'? some kind of temporary file?

Nobody knows how to fix the savegame counter? I have: "save 0006, save 0032, save 0048 ...", and I want to fix that before start a new character.

 

Im stuck.

tried everything i could sry

i cant fix it well maybe someone else can

i still have all my savegames lol 1-786 exept for the 2nd savegame

and yeah, i do play a lot

I discovered that removing last savegames to anoter directory, and rename a savegame to "quicksave.fos" the numeration reset since the one that it savegame has.

 

Its the only way I know to mantain certain "control" of the game numeration.
