To All Modders...

I was running through the wastes today, amazed by the landscape, awed by my sweet weapons and hi-tech armor. My Pip-Boy talks to me. My armor talks to me. I can get funky with the ladies of the wasteland. I can take some drugs and catch some crazy visuals while I watch the sun set. I can run faster, jump higher and carry more weight than any other wastelander. I can create a posse of followers and call in air strikes on my enemies. I can travel by car, motorcycle or boat and build robots. It was at that moment I realized that, I owe the individuals that have spent countless hours and loads of ingenuity making mods for this game, a HUGE THANKS!!! :D

Each of you have contributed to making this game much more fun, to say the least. At last count I had over 110 modifications (not including the DLC). Everything from weather, water, sun-glare, landscape textures, loading screens, UI, to guns, armor and amazing game play additions. And my game runs flawlessly at the highest settings. I fully understand the complexity of some of these projects (I've tinkered with the G.E.C.K.) and admire your dedication and talent. Rest assured that, without all of you, I would not have played this game for over 700 hours.

Thanks to all and keep up the great work.

Jim

PS: It's always amazed me that modders release better content than game developers. ;)

I thank you and I'd also like to thank the community using their time to make a game worth even more!

PS: The reason modders often better content than the developers is because the developers has to think of optimization for almost every computer and system while modders can say; It doesn't? Too bad for you ;)

Well the fact that the game developers have to deal with legal ramifications on thier content from entities such as the ESRB and others where as the modders put in stuff they want in the game to hell with what everyone else says...If you don't like it don't download it, is the main conception that comes to mind :D
