A few questions about PAK Files

Hey guys,

I want to play a few steam games with my ps4 controller, but some games show me xbox buttons.

Usually i just download an already existing pak mod that seals the deal, but i cant find these mods for every game that i am playing so i want to mod them myself.

Atleast i want to try to.

Can someone give me a few tips how to start?

I tried reading the pak files i already have (, but i cant find a decent program.)

Thats the first problem.

I tried using Pak Explorer, but i dont really understand how to use it properly.

The second problem is that i dont have any experience at all.

Firstly i wanted to read other peoples pak files so i get a slight understanding how much effort i have to put in these projects.

 

I used the dragon quest 11 ps4 button prompts pak files, but couldnt open them.
