GeekCore84 Posted May 28, 2022 Share Posted May 28, 2022 As the title says, I'm trying to make a patch so that the mask from the Cross_MojaveManhunter outfit will function as a gas mask in the Flashy(JoeR) - Advanced needs mod. So far I haven't been able to make heads or tails of either the CK or xEdit to get this accomplished. Any help would be greatly appreciated. hereami Posted May 30, 2022 Share Posted May 30, 2022 (edited) Probably not needed anymore? Well, i looked at Flashy mod out of curiousity anyway, and it seems not hard to do self. Open both files in xEdit, copy (and rename) Flashy_Equip_AssaultGasmak potion (Ingestible category) and corresponding MagicEffect Flashy_ME_AssaultGasmaskToggle into a new file, correct the potion to reference this new effect record, substitute MGEF script parameters by new mask and your new potion, copy/make a new similar crafting recipe for this toggle item. To hook into debuffs, fortunately, author provided it politicly. Copy mask from Mojave as override, add Flashy_Keyword_IsGasmaskArmor Keyword to Keywords list. Alternative simple method without override could be a StartGameEnabled empty quest, which creates a single mask item inside player by alias with said keyword, probably marked as QuestItem to not lose it.Seems be it.
