jaysus
as i understand the file got deleted, sorry was away in the past days so i didnt witness what happened...but in regards to some major mods, partly my own, id really like to know what made you delete it? as i understand it the ink spots and the other stuff thats running on GNR is public domain and therefore free to use for non commercial projectsreference:http://www.archive.org/details/InkSpots-SlapThatBass could you please clear the legal side of it or at least state your point as to wether we can use that music without getting our mods deleted from the nexus? i know that beth is eager to keep it more or less secret that these songs can seemingly be gotten for free and legally that without buying the itunes soundtrack but id like to hear your opinion on it... imo it should not be a problem to use it... agathas songs are a different thing as these are copyright protected as it sems in regards to the filenames... thx for your time to clear that up :)
buddah
Exactly which file are you referring to? The normal time for copyright protections is 25 years, which can be extended for another 25 years; after which the material does fall into the public domain. That is the reason the Beth used the music that they did keeps expenses down, increases the profit potential.
jaysus
mafiaaman (dunno if its one or 2 as - hes here for some time) uploaded the "fallout soundtrack" which i refer to... and as it seems it was deleted, im just asking myself why? btw beth now sells them at itunes which i deem "evil" :P
buddah
Key word is sells, official content on the music may have been why it was deleted, the older songs used for the radio are in the public domain, the game music however is Bethesda's and may not be destributed. Also use of content (music) from fallout 1 and 2 is forbidden. Hope this clarifies things.
