Sometimes i wish the weapons in New Vegas were more modern. here some ideas

9mm pistol- Beretta 92fs, Glock 17 or 19

10mm Pistol- USP, Sig p226, Sig p220, S&W pistol (any)

9mm SMG- Mini Uzi, Mac 10, MP9

10mm SMG- MP5, MP5K, MP7

Service Rifle- Semi auto M16

Assault Carbine- M4A1, HK416, ACR

LMG- MK-46

Sniper Rifle- MK14 EBR, PSG1, Draganov

Hunting Rifle- R700, Remington MSR

12.7mm Pistol- Desert Eagle

12.7mm SMG- UMP45, P90

Hunting Shotgun- SPAS 12, M1014, M870MCS

Riot Shotgun- Saiga 12, AA12

 

I know this ideas is complelty lore-unfriendly, but it would be cool
