Madamxx Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Attention all female gamers! Like you i have dealt with men judging us for our gender, treating us like we are less, and degrading us. It has come to my attention and with great sadness i announce that the Fallout New Vegas mod "Project Brazil" has been made by sexist men. They have chosen to ignore our gender discard our existence and spit in our faces. This mod has been made as a male only mod they refuse to make female armor version unless we beg just the right way. Instead of cool new armor like the men were given we have been handed a camo tank top and a pair of cargo shorts. I have been laughed at by the author and he has made several rude inappropriate comments to me when i started bringing up issues i was seeing in the mod regarding the placement of women. While it is true its his mod he may do what he want i ask no urge you to help me make a stand for all female gamers! Whoever you are male or female stand with us in the first ever boycott of a mod due to gender discrimination by the author. Sure, the Nexus has rules for which content it deems appropriate for legal reasons (no child sex mods etc) but has shown in the past that it really does not care about peoples sensibilities (and this is a good thing - more freedom means more open mod development), which is why it allows adult only content whereas the majority of game file sites on the internet atleast try to be kid friendly to an extent. If you really dont want to be offended you could always tick the "Only for females" search filter when looking for some cool armor to wear. Just dont select "only for make characters" as that is obviously the sexism button.Secondly, there are literally hundreds of female-only armor mods on the nexus.
