gheraz
Hi guys, I just wanted to install Fallout 3 (normal Collector's Edition-DVD I used several times), but Windows loads my DVD really long - like REALLY long, I guess it loaded my DVD about three minutes) - and then, when I double-clicked setup.exe I've got the following error message shown: "setup.exe is not supported Win32 application" (<-- that is my translation, the english message might be slightly different, since I do not run an english OS on my PC). I used this DVD several times on the same machine.I received the tip to update my .net Framework, so I downloaded 4.5 (which obviously already was installed) and chose "repair", when the InstallWizard asked what I wanna do. That did not help. Do you have any ideas how to install it? I haven't had no problems installing this game yet. A few days ago I installed another game using this drive. I use Windows 7 x64, 4 GB RAM. Need any more details, if so, which do you need? Thanks and have a nice day, gheraz
Nintii
Was this disk one (the game only one) or two with the DLC's ?If it was disk two, then you're experiencing what a lot of us have already been through. The way that this normally works is to load disk two (if that's the disk giving problems), andand come back in about 10 minutes time and it should "sync" with your PC.That disk normally takes foreverrrrrrrrr, but it will sync. gheraz
No, I have the DLCs on separate DVDs. The game itself has just one DVD which has the above mentioned problem. And yesterday the DVD was like an hour in my drive (I tried running it several times). :(
gheraz
I was able to install the game, using an image of my DVD that has just been created on another computer. No clue why the drive had problems with my disk.
