Osiris2010
Cyrodiil is huge and I'm suprised nobody has made a mod including trade shipments which travel to and from the IC. Jorundr and Arnora in Two Sides of the Coin knocked off an Imperial tax shipment and it would be amazing if somebody made a mod to place these trade caravans in the game. I can imagine I am not the only person that would enjoy the challenge of knocking off several guards escorting a trade wagon/cart loaded with gems or some form of bullion. Could even be a weapons shipment too, after all Cyrodiil is in the middle of an Oblivion crisis and everyone will be wanting a weapon in their hand after Kvatch.I have attempted to mod this myself but I lack the skills needed. I hope someone far more experienced will view this idea as a good mod to create.
darkjaffar
Yeah, I've wanted a mod similar to this for a while as well. It would be good for thief characters. The other related idea I always had in regards to this sort of mod were settler caravans that travel between cities and you could either be a bandit that attempts to steal from the caravans or get job protecting the caravans for their trips. You would also include roads that go off the map to, for example, Skyrim, and from there caravans mostly containing Nords would come through. Elsewyr settlers would have Khajiit. etc. Once they visit a city the settlers could just do random things in the city, like stay around in the pub, or walk around in shops or mingle, then move on to the next city. Ones that come from off the map would visit a city then leave to some unknown area off the map again until visiting a different city. You would go to a local tavern to get a quest to escort a group either to another city or to the border they intended to reach. As for banking caravans, you could go to the Imperial City's Office of Imperial Commerce to get guarding quests.
Tonyv123
Yeah really, I think now that thief classes aren't really thought of with mods anymore or pilgrims or anyone that isn't a mage, ranger , or knight. It gets annoying lol.
