paulkim
Hello. I have a problem with my OBSE Loader. Whenever I install it, the oblivion window closes at start, and it keeps doing that. But when I uninstall it, Oblivion works perfectly fine, but I need the OBSE loader for my mods. Please help?

Deleted269910User
Are you sure your Oblivion fills the requirements to run OBSE? v0016 provides official support for:Oblivion & Shivering Isles build 1.2.0.416. This is the latest official build of Oblivion. It provides fixes for the FormID problems and supports Shivering Isles. We recommend all users update to this build.Oblivion 1.2.0.214 This was the official downloadable 1.2 patch.Oblivion 1.1.0.511 This was the original Oblivion that OBSE supported. v0016 does not work with: Oblivion 1.2.0.410: the Shivering Isles beta patch.Oblivion 1.2.0.201: the Shivering Isles DVD build.Oblivion 1.0: the original DVD build of Oblivion.Any Direct2Drive version of Oblivion or Shivering Isles. The Oblivion.exe provided by D2D is encrypted, and we cannot patch it without breaking the encryption. We will not do this, as it is illegal. Please be a bit more detailed in your game version, patch version and on the steps you've taken when you tried to install it. Here's a quote of the installation instructions;[ Installation ] 1. Copy obse_1_1.dll, obse_1_2.dll, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_0.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe to your Oblivion directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher.exe".2. Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory. bben46
It sounds like you need to patch your game to the latest version. Be sure to use the proper language version that matches your original disk. Syriak
Hi! I didn't want to open another topic about OBSE. I have one noobish question, and don't know how to solve it. Please, accept my apologies for being noob. My problem is I've installed OBSE with some mods using it. But now, my saves are gone. I mean, they arent literally gone, just can't load them anymore. So I went to folder where my save games are, and I saw quicksave and autosave changed their extentions (or whatever its called, i'm thinking on *.ess and *.bak) to *.obse. Now, is there something to do to get my old saves back, some way to converting them to obse files? Please, can you help me?Sincerely,Jurica P.S. I'm from Croatia, so forgive me for bad english and my weird name.
