Luryo Posted June 7, 2022 Share Posted June 7, 2022 Hey there, I have always hated the percentage based pickpocketing mechanic.And even though I play thieves a lot, I never really use this mechanic or use savescumming to avoid it.I have yet to find a mod that changes the pickpocketing to a skillbased mechanic. So I thought if it was possible to change the mechanic in a way that when you try to steal an item you get into a lockpicking screen.If you succeed you get the item and if not you get busted. (Perhaps implemented by altering the chance of success to 100% or 0%) Further mechanics could go into the direction where the difficulty-assigment of the lock depends on the success of pickpocketing the item.
