ShinigamiKiba
I just need a camera mod that lets me move the camera around freely so that I can make my character walk into the screen or have the camera follow him from the side both with weapons out and in and both outside and in combat. I also want something that lets me freeze time or something that lets me move the camera around when the console is active. I see there are several vanity camera mods, but I'd rather not download something that might not work right so I'm looking for recommendations. One thing I don't want to do is update SKSE and one of the camera mod requires a slightly newer version than what I already have. I just need to capture some videos with my character walking towards the screen and videos of him walking but the camera following him from the side and such. SineWaveDrox
There are some console commands that will allow you to do those things. For being able to move the camera around such that your character can walk forward toward it, use the console command "animcam". This will toggle the vanity cam, so that you can swing the camera left and right without turning your character. You cannot move the camera up or down in this mode, attempting to do so will zoom in or out. You can toggle it back off by entering the command again. For being able to freeze time, use the console command "tfc 1". This will toggle the game into free camera mode, so that when you exit the console, you will have the camera free to fly around, and movement and time will be stopped. If you want to have free camera without freezing time, simply use "tfc". There are, however some animations that do not allow free camera, such as kill-moves. Also, if you want to change the field of view, use the command "fov #", where # is whatever you want to set the field of view to. If you change the field of view, you can return it to default by entering "fov 0". If you want to have the game play in slow-motion, or if you want it to speed up, you can use the command "sgtm #" where # would be what you want to multiply the game speed by. 1 is default, anything higher (greater than 1) makes the game faster, anything lower (between 0 and 1) makes the game slower. Note that values too high or too low can cause strange issues to occur, and may crash your game. Some animations, such as kill-moves, tend to reset this value to the default.
