I was about to post a shot too. LOL, because there's a lot I know of that kinda defeats (win98) being in the big picture here.

I see then fomm was used , but, not updating, so, that fomm is most likely not the one you are using. OR, a piece of data IT uses is not there....just as the game requires other mods or data to run, windows executable s too require things to run.

 

DLC's will not load out of order in fomm. Or it's broken. Or it can if the data is some how masked ? something is definitely wrong here so we try and determine what is wrong.

 

.net 3.5.....is reqquired and that flag from Fomms installer pop's up on windows 8.1 when we try to install it asking to install outdated disabled software s in new OS . an uninstaller program for you may be required to get it fixed. How ever. before you attempt this, you must find all your fomod's you installed and MOVE them to another directory before proceeding as when you re-install Fomm, Or Nmm, your games data will be wiped out, deleted . you need to back it up or hide it.

 

save the #'d post I placed here for references .use that. when it's all done ,and fom does in fact update , then you can move the fomod's into the mods directory and fomm will now pick them up , so you can instal them.

Home? premium? on what kind of machine running 200 watt or ? power supply, the desk top, has a right click access to systems themes, in it on windows 7 when you select the personalization s, at the upper left corner, you can access the icons, activate or check "My computer and users folders to appear on the desktop so you can further access important information's Others here will ask of you. the My computer icon opens up basic information including ram used and installed.

ıııı Marks software last used over 1 year ago. So, windows update that specifically, use manual method if supported. Fomm uses .net and that is the thing I believe is missing for you, I also want you to attempt to update all .NET software's that apply. Fomms functionality rely s heavily on .NET.

Not sure if there is a new one available for XP 2002? But ! that explains why the buttons are gone. Silverlight is now the going thing for windows and again, not sure if it applies of if there isa work around so you can get updates for that OS.

 

regardless you need to be update so the tools used in these game work right.

 

like Java for instance. your running (Oracle - Java Platform SE 7 U25 Version 7.0.250.17) on a system that used SE22 and it's not there, even though a fix has been provided from Mozzila firefox teams networks for the older version of Java, the system still remains the older system to match the game but the tools don't match.

Hence you ended up here.

 

please use caution updating the Microsoft data ,you un-check all of it During windows found support file, not automated, an only pick out what you need if support is even there? Do not allow it to update kernels and system data that are not compatible.

 

I do relies this means probably nothing, but common seance and careful study of what the updates are for may shed some light on the data you need.

A more basic question I guess is do Fallout 3 games become more resource intense over the course of a game? Because if not, something else is afoot. Some brutal conflict between the mods.

If that load order, OR post you laid on me here is what your running? that it's self is brutal conflict all by it's self. Between mods?

 

C. I have no idea how it even runs? do you use fo3edit (TES4Edit) Fallout3 editor? or Even the TES5 Version 3.0.30? Either one will show the load order and malfunctions if it will load at all?

 

your way beyond conflicts here. Fomm must change the load order. if nothing changes?

here is one suggestion that might make some sort of head way.

open Fomm.

click on tools, then saved games in the menu.

in the lower window, drag the windows slider all the way to the right. click on the very last Green or yellow saved game.

Now, it is or should be highlighted. Just bellow it is a button , a export button, click that, browse to the desk top or remember what directory you export it too.

 

this will produce the load order currently running. I need to see and verify that against what was posted here because I am in disbelief the game can run with the main file fallout3.esm under all the rest. it's just not possible.

 

If this is not the same as the first post, I was miss led by the way it was posted, or what ever produced the list.

 

If no files or saved game list any of the mods you have in that list? then we know something is very wrong.

I also ran FO3edit to make sure subordinate files were loaded after their primaries.

That's more to my taste, thanks, now I can get some where. Still LOL, that's a ton of stuff, yup ! resource hog it is.

average main clean running list is about 175 mod's /plugins. That list is real, not what you posted earlier.

 

hmm. ok, you have experience in fo3edit. cool. run it, when all files are loaded up. post and tell me, and just hold on there.
