Crash and Errors Only in Wasteland

well, what I need is whats contained in the merged patch header, the list of mods, the data you sent to me, is that all the mods you have? or just the ones found by the merged file?

there are steps involved here that need to be taken to isolate the bad ones from the good ones, the data I outlined is only 2 files but not all of them are listed.

conflict detection of what mods are in conflict are contained in the header of the merged patch esp. It loads whats involved using only fo3edit.

right so what ever loads now is still in this line up here...correct?

took out? meaning what? unchecked or uninstalled? because we don't 'do not " want to uninstall stuff.

I need to be clear here. if these file in this list are all that remains now in the data directory? then these and not the core files need to be moved out to your bugged up folder waiting on the desk top and the safe files, known not to be listed here are to be put back into the data folder.

do that, and resort them, then run fo3edit and check with a new merged patch "Process" and this one will show .........if any thing remains outstanding. it should show nothing at all. then you are ready to test the games software again.

Anchorage because it wouldn't let be not have a master file.

That is because it's a core file ..A DLC file which must remain. so far so good. keep going.

ok cool, now after you swap out the data here, and re sort with fomm's boss sorter, , run fo3edit and it will stop on some mods, possible master files. you will only drag and drop each one 1 at a time each run of fo3edit till it process the data. by the time your done, what ever is left over in the bugged up folder will be the mods that require repairs, most importantly world space and dialog / cell bugs will be there.

there is a method to this madness .and this is called modding the game. We modify what we use.

I am really curious as to what will be left. but once fo3edit is allowed to couplet it's cycle and load the tree of files. then we can test the game.

OK. I am standing by. Here is what happened:

I resorted with FOMM's BOSS feature

I ran that order with FO3edit.

The only times it stopped were when subordinate mods had been placed ahead of their master files.

These were SSshop.esm before Calibur.esm and MarcuzVanishingPiles.esp before Eve.esp

I changed the load order and the process went to Background loader: finished.

I did not see any way to just load one at a time. The process is automated and stops only with a fatal error or at completion.

What do I do next?

that is correct, well done. Now, the two files that stopped it, because they were not sorted , this means that code in them is not being recognized by fo3edit but the engine is seeing a conflict. if these take too much data out, these two subordinate files? we Note down what they were. This information can be forwarded to the Boss team, they will look into it.

ya see, it does require team work and the only way these tools will work is if we input the data to those that need it. Just as you have done here for me, and I you. that's how it works. so notes:

SSshop.esm
MarcuzVanishingPiles.esp

ok, now run the merged patch sequence and see what clicks? see what shows up inside the newly created esp patch.

I took those two two (and SSshop's subordinate SSshopitems.esp) out of the line up and created a new merge. This one, like the last ended its processing line at creation with

Only group records can be added to files

But it saved. Then I deselected everything but the merge and Anchorage, cause I need a master file and it loaded up with no fatal errors.

provide me with a screen shot of that if you can, i know it's back peddling but I need to see it.

that message means something is still not right, I can be mistaken but here, in this Tormentor , under these circumstances , I take no chances. I want you to experience cool headed calculations and game fixing.

a simple screen shot show that. then put them away. and we continue.
