DV8GAMER
Hello all I am new here and to fallout 3. I have been using the GECK for about a week now and I have 1 small problem. I have finished my map BUT.... To connect tothe wasteland do I alter it by placing a "door" in that area and ref link or is their another way. After I rectify this set backI'll test them and upload for all. I am a keen 1st per shooterand like a level that kick my ass 4-5 times before I might get through.
Spiney4
Did you ever get an answer? I highly recommend going through the Bethesda's GECK tutorial. This page in particualr would answer your question, in detail:http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Bethsof...ize_and_Connect But basically, you Go to your connecting door's Teleport tab, and pick the door you placed in the wasteland, from the drop down list. This means your going to want to have a recognizeable cell name, to start with, then you can pick a door to connect to from there. Good luck! Guest deleted934561
The easy way that I learned how to do this is to link the wasteland door to the interior cell rather then the other way because even though your in a named zone when you place the door, the door itself might be in another wasteland cell. Also make sure you check the door marker placement because it may port you inside the building or under the terrain, Then double click the marker and check the marker inside the interior cell also
