Gorgopis Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 We think we saw a thread on this, but on our last two NEW-game starts, three characters in Helgen Keep showed up completely naked. The Imperial Captain, and the Thalmor witness, for examples, and others showing up later during gameplay. Later, while she's dead in the Keep, the naked Imperial Captain still shows her starting armor in her pick-up inventory??? We're pretty sure this is a mod issue, in our enabled mods, though we haven't changed anything other than adding a Skyrim Profile in Vortex, with the same Mod list. Maybe someone out there can say, "Oh, yeah, that's Mod X does that"?? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
anjenthedog Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 Can you check their inventory? I encounter the "Angry Orc Woman" ("What's a Milk Drinker like you...?") on the road here and there. She's often wearing some mod-added armor, some of which just don't fit her body right, and some of which aren't meant for her body type at all and show up as transparent. I have CBBE, CBBE-3BBB, and BHUNP clothing and armors installed to support various characters. If an NPC wears one not meant for or otherwise incompatible for them (ie for their body type), oddities occur, from clipping issues, to invisible feet or hands, to complete armor/clothing invisibility (apparent naked body) So what I'm getting at is that it's possible they're not "naked", it's just that you can't see their clothing/armor.
