Twin Blade
Right i have been playing morrowind for only a few weeks, and at first i was an assassin, but very quickly got bored as my levels were rising to fast, i ended up level 40 in the matter of 2 days of playing, and yes i did hammer it but only at night times  . So i was playin last night, and decided i cant be botherd with this character anymore, and the fact, i had totally lost one of the sanguine (<is that spelt wrong ?) items, sold it, dropped it i dunno well anyways its gone for ever, so i tryed making a battlemage, but hes far to worse, so i have decided to come on here and ask for (professional help, in character making), this is what kind of character i want I want to be a BattleMage, who can rank up in the three guilds, Fighter's/Mages/Assassin i will train up with my assassin money for the requirements of the rest of the guilds/houses i want to join (which i am allowed to join, as theres will probably be wars going on) So guys thats my story hopefully your not all asleep by now, but could someone sort out a good enough character that will fit what i have said above, oh an could it be possible to make him a Dark Elf, as the dude on the back of the xbox/pc case looks ace, an i know where his sowrd is :D cheers Twin(X)Blade
Malchik
You don't indicate if you are on PC or Xbox. If you are on PC, you might check out Morrowind Summit mod downloads (I don't remember seeing it here). There is a spread sheet designed to help you put together the character you want. I haven't used it so I don't know how good it is but other feedback has been positive. There are also mods out there to make levelling up more difficult - so you cannot get to level 40 in two days. But what's to stop you being a Dark Elf Battlemage? All you need to do is choose these options when you start the game. If you don't like the stats given to a default option Battlemage, pick the skills etc you want by selecting your own custom class. Useful attributes for Battlemages maybe Destruction and Alteration, Fighters Longsword and Medium armour and Morag Tong Sneak and Light Armour. Speechcraft is also very useful. As for your attributes it depends of the ones that apply to the majority of your ten chosen skills. The same applies to the birthsign. To make the game more of a challenge if you don't have a PC you can set the difficulty level to plus 100. Choose as your major/minor skills those completely opposite to your intended approach. And never level up by training.
Twin Blade
So if i made a Dark Elf Major Attributes DestructionAlterationLonger SwordMedium ArmorSneak Minor Atrributes Light ArmorSpeechcraftSecurityAlchemyRestoration im not sure of the last 3, but they seem to fit the description, what would my birth sign be The Astronach (not sur eof the spelling)The LadyThe Mage The top one has 2.0x magika, which i will be trying to use magic most the way through the game, and resort to fighting as the last option. I play the xbox version of morrowind so no mods for me :( Thanks for your reply, could you tell me whether what i have chosen would be good :S, should i add shortblade in the as thats one of the assassins favourtie attribute :/ im not sure.... Twin Blade
OR shoudl i play the game, go to all three of the guilds an pick of certain ones out of thier favourite skills, and mix them together, but make magic has his speciality, cuz that dude on the back of the case looks ace, looks abit magical aswell :D, is his weapon a daedric claymore, or is it something else thanks
Dilvish
You should concentrate on the things you would like your character to do in the world of Morrowind. In combat, a Dunmer Battlemage would cast a powerful destruction spell on his opponent and then draw his mighty longsword to rush in and finish the job. He would wear heavy armour and might prefer an axe instead of a sword. I think a good birthsign for him would be The Lady. This would raise his otherwise low personality and endurance. High endurance is important to a melee fighter since it adds more health per level. Raise up your armor skill early in the game to add endurance. It really pays off later.I think a Battlemage would be a good choice for your first character to go through the main quest. He has a healthy dose of magic and strong combat skills. As Malchik said, set the difficulty high from the start and don't pay for too much training if you don't want to level up too fast.

Stormscape
I personally think your birthsign should be The Apprentice. 50% Magicka weakness is easily remedyed by nicking cuirass of the savior's hide.
Malchik
When you first access MW it comes up with a menu. One of the choices is 'Options'. Within that you can fiddle around with audio levels etc but it also includes a difficulty slider. By default the game starts at 0. You can set it anywhere from -100 to +100. You may vary this at any time of the game but it is a wimp's solution if you lower it simply to beat Gaenor or Umbra. To be honest, when you are at level 40, even at difficulty +100 most of the game is a doddle but it makes it harder at the start!
Abramul
I have a Lvl 3 char, been playing at 100 difficulty. I never expected a Forager to get a one hit kill! Even more of a challenge: Play through only saving when you quit the game!
