Shidentora
Seva suit...A STALKER's dream. A cool looking hazmat suit, can be upgraded to a decent fighting suit, too. Would be definitely VERY useful in areas such as the Vault 34, Searchlight, etc.The suit: http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/SEVA_suit The legendary FO3 STALKER guns and armor mod, containing also SEVA suit. I never play FO3 without it. http://tesall.ru/files/file/1530-stalker-mod/ What's my point?Y'see, hopping around in that yellow antirad suit just ain't looking badass enough - my character reminds me on a lemon:) We'd need sumthin more like Desert tiger camo, or at least some olive stuff. devinpatterson
Hmmm wasn't Stalker one of the few games where the developers didn't mind modders using their assets? IIRC and that's true, than I could take a shot at porting it for you. We'd have to check with the moderators though to be sure. I don't see the original link back to the fallout 3 nexus page, so it may have been removed for copy right reasons.
dangman4ever
Yup that's true that you can port the STALKER armors over. Dragbody ported some of the STALKER armors already:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/images/55439/? They're part of the Wilhaven pack apparently:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/images/56091/? Though this quote from Dragbody does explain why so few STALKER armors have shown up: I don't plan to do anymore STALKER armors. These were the best quality by far, and I had to remove a lower LOD on the hoodie armor manually. Took me HOURS. Also, judging from the textures on the STALKER weapons already available on the Nexus, the armor textures won't be that good either. Shidentora
Yes, I know, some STALKER armors just don't look top notch, but I love them the way they are. It's not about looks in my case, friend, it's about the feeling that certain item gives you, about that hair-rising feeling when you don that armor and remember how your character died in an anomaly in STALKER: SoC, and the like. About the feeling which a SEVA suit would give you while approaching the searchlight airport and entering the red fores... ehm... the gloom there, y'know. The FEELING, friend. The feeling the STALKER armors bring with them, the remembrance of that constant alertness you had in STALKER, where no followers are anywhere, where monsters would rip you apart in notime.TYVM for the Willhaven, I'ma check that ASAP.As for the STALKER weapons pack, I was very enthusiastic about using it, but then I found some weapons to crash the game, glitter when modded, block the WME mod from functioning properly, not responding to enhanced zoom, crashing the game when hotkeyed, etc, etc, et-madafracking-c. But, I love STALKER very much and am well known for my elefant-like patience, so I used trial and error, renamed the problematic guns to "(gun name) DONTCHA BUY THIS GOVNO" (LOLOLOL). The STALKER Pistols are all all right, BTW, all of them. They work very good. Other weapons are also mostly OK, BUT ya gotto pay a real close attention to the AK family guns, including the Shorties (AKSU). RPK is very good, BTW and I recommend it. A real badass weapon for us badass fighters who eat a Deathclaw Steak for breakfast, one arm in a medical brace. dangman4ever
The only weapon I wanted to use from the STALKER weapons pack was the PKM, one of my favorite machine guns. So I ended up just deleting all non PKM related STALKER meshes and textures and adding the PKM to a weapons.esp I've made to hold most of the weapons I use in the game. The last I remember was about a year or more ago, "which is ancient history under our circumstances." (Cmdr. Adama, BSS Galactica). The FO3 mod was also removed. Maybe Beth already got the STALKER copyrights, I dunno. But PLEASE, check with the Moderator guys if it's all right to do the job, AR?
Shidentora
BTW, guys, if it would be possible to make a STALKER Zone mod for FNV/FO3, THAT would be IT. I just can't understand why so many, many, WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE, YES, just fail to see how close these worlds are. To me, this became absolutely clear 2 years ago, when I played FO2 STALKER/Oblivion mod. Here, try it: http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Oblivion_Losthttp://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54477 Go ahead, ppl. It's very brain-resting to go back to ol' FO2/ FO once in a while:)
