nightflayme
If your game is installed with Steam, or into the C:\Program Files directory, or has Games For Windows Live (GFWL) activated, these have all been known to cause serious issues with modding and you will need to read up on the relevant one to see how to fix it. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it requires a completely fresh install. If your game is installed with steam it might be saving your settings to the steam cloud, this has been known to make a clean install impossible. the way to fix it is to tell steam to not save your settings to the steam cloud and try to reinstall afterwards 1- open the steam menu (upper left corner of the steam window) and click settings2- in the window that opens, click on cloud (left side of the window)3- uncheck the box next to "enable steam cloud synchronization. . ." this might not be your problem, but it's still a good trick to know Edited September 3, 2014 by nightflayme
