NiteOwl94
I've noticed there's a hang-up in Fo3 and FoNV where you can't jump when you're running. Not properly anyways. This has happened on the console version and the PC version. So I know it's in the game itself and not just laggy controls.I'm trying to jump from one area to another, and I run and time it just right... but it doesn't respond when I hit the jump key. Instead I plummet to my death. Or at the very least, a pair of broken legs. There's also areas and ledges you get on, or places you get stuck in, where you can't friggin jump out of to save your life. I feel like the jump option was always a tacked on afterthought in these games. However, that's a rant for another time. Can anyone fix this? Make a mod to work it out? devinpatterson
There are some jump settings, but none that I think would apply to the problem your describing (fJumpHeightMin, fFatigueJumpBase, fFatigueJumpMult, fJumpDoubleMult fJumpFallTimeMult, fJumpHeightMax). I think (IMHO) that is a problem with the game engine and not something that can be changed with a mod.

Yes that's what happens when you adjust the fJumpHeightMin, but I don't believe that's what the OP was looking to fix (jumping responsiveness while running).
