Sitting Glitch

Ahoyhoy,

 

I'm having a problem whenever I try to sit down in Oblivion, which becomes problematic at the start of Shivering Isles or in the Pirate Isles mod where it's required to sit down. When I do sit, my first person perspective is difficult to control. When I try to look left or right, the camera pans left or right, but very wildly so, and it's difficult to target anything. If I try to speak to a person, the viewpoint shifts between two perspectives very quickly. If I exit to third person, the problem persists, and standing back up doesn't fix my problem. The only way to fix the problem is to save, exit, and restart.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

have you recently added any mods? If so which ones?

I'm almost always adding mods, but this problem is a few weeks old, and I'm not sure which mods I've downloaded and when. I've downloaded 3rd person animations while in third person, which is the only thing I can think of which has an effect on perspectives.
