change weapon skin

i want to change skin of a weapon but i don't know how to do that can somebody help me with this

You need to download a weapon mod then paste the new textures into a texture folder in your fallout 3 data folder. If you haven't already done so, download the Fallout Mod Manager which will make sure the game accepts the new textures.

There's dozens of them on the Fallout 3 Nexus home page under the heading "Choose catagories" . It's just a matter of choosing one you like. "FOOK" is a mod that adds a huge amount of guns and armors into the game. So if its more variety you want its the one you should use.

You can create your own textures using the GECK, a tool that allows you to change evey aspect of the game. You need to have a artist talent to use it which I don't have, so you'll have to get help elsewhere on that one! :wallbash:

i am a bit good with the geck and i know now how to change texture but the question i ment to ask was

how to make your own weapon shape. :confused:

Take a look at this great tutorial by Jaysus. It won't tell you how to model though, that's something you will have to learn by yourself elsewhere.

srry but it's not really helpfull for me cause the tutorial tell how to put a NEW model in the geck
