andyfuji7
This was probably my favorite mod for Fallout 3, where you can establish your own cities and recruit citizens to live there. I was very disappointed when I bought Oblivion and the mod was not there. This can't be very hard to port over to Oblivion because it uses mostly FOSE (OBSE). I'm sure other people besides me want this too.

QQuix
I am not familiar with FO3, but I am working on something along these lines: check The Evolving Society thread
andyfuji7
That is almost exactly like 'The Settler' except you can't pick the location of your town. Maybe you can do it using the same technique as the 'Portable Camp'.
QQuix
I've just released a Dynamic Building Placement proof of concept that will allow something like that. In the final mod, the player will choose where to place each building, like the smith, the inn, the church etc. Depending on how complex things get, I may need to restrict the villages to pre-determined areas.
