Claptrap1969
Bit of a weird one, never experienced this and I can't find Google or YouTube solutions A few hours ago, I updated my monitor from a 32" UltraGear to the Alienware AW3821DW ultrawide monitor. I changed nothing, and everything runs fine in terms of apps... but when I try to launch Fallout 4 from Vortex, the screen goes black for a millisecond and then nothing happens. Does changing to a new monitor really cause this, or is there something else happening? I mentioned the monitor type in case that happens to be the culprit, but I'm pretty lost here
Solution rmm200 Posted June 30, 2022 Solution Share Posted June 30, 2022 Launch Fallout 4 from Steam.Open Options dialogue.Check your resolution and full screen or windowed.Close Fallout 4Launch the way you normally do.Changing monitors and resolution can indeed keep the game from opening.
