Jueg
Before you even utter a single word, I know there is a troubleshooting online site regarding Frostfall but for some unthinkable reason it DOES NOT open. So I decided to post to find a solution. You see after I installed Frostfall it keeps showing the message 'Processing speed is too slow for Frostfall to run correctly. Until fixed, exposure meter won't decrease.' Why does this even happen? I have a reasonably fast computer. Unless there is a whole mess of graphical input, fps is about 20 frames per second (You must understand that I am not very well acquainted with fps, sorry if it is a bit off). Just in case it is related to system inadequacy, I'll also relay my system properties. Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU M430 @ 2.27GHzRAM: 8.00 GB (7.86 usable)System: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 310M (driver recently updated 327.23) I am also running 164 plugins on Skyrim and several other non-plugin retex mods. So, what's the problem?
ZeroKing
You have a weak machine. 20 fps is way too low; you generally want at least 30 fps for a smooth gameplay in a console-port game like Skyrim. So in other words, the message you received is spot-on correct.

So, what's the problem? 20 fps is too low and your video card is extremely weak. Frostfall literally can't run its scripts when the framerate is that low. A 310M was never intended for gaming or graphically intensive applications, and since it's a laptop card you most likely won't be able to replace it. I'm going to write a short thing comparing framerates. 5 fps - your PC is a potato10 fps - broken20 fps - problems30 fps - good60 fps - great120 fps - utterly pointless Edited October 17, 2013 by Rennn
Tulsa299
i disagree, i don't know about your particular video card but i can't be worse than mine, my specs: Radeon hd 4200, 2.20ghz turion II dual core moblie m500 with 4GB ram (3.75 useable) I run an average of 15fps with no stutters, amazing looking textures, frostfall/rnd/DCO/Skyre/CoT/Immersive patrols/Hunterborn/DoD/Sot/Obis and quite a few other mods... keep in mind i'd average 5-10 before modding... and frostfall has never been a problem for me, so it has to be something else... can i get a load order? Im no expert but it could be a vram issue... find the skyrim performance monitor and check whats happening while you play, to eliminate either mod or hardware problems of course iv'e spent waaaay too long messing around with my laptop/skyrim Edited October 17, 2013 by Tulsa299
