Ulrich Leland still wandering...

The Cheydinhal gate is closed, I'm supposed to get one cheydinhal soldier and Ulrich. But, Ulrich is still wandering the city. He now talks to me and says stuff like, we'll get em, and waiting is hard...but his lips don't move. Now, I have two journal entries for Corruption and Conscience, with the most recent being I should talk to Ulrich's second in command. I stopped doing that quest, because I REALLY REALLY want him to help in the Bruma fight.

How do I get him to come to the battle? PC console codes welcome.

Thanks!

Is he still tagged as "essential", i.e. does he still have that little crown Icon when you move the cursor over him? I think he is no longer essential when you talk with someone about the "Fines" in Cheydinhal.

If he is no longer essential, he is useless. He will probably die in that Battle and you'll get the "bad" Ending for the Quest since the Game assumes that you are somehow responsible for the demise of Leland. Did you want to try that out? Maybe you wanted to know if the Quest has another ending if Leland dies without being killed by you. Short Answer: No. Long Answer:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Sorry about that. As i've said, if Leland dies somehow, maybe from a Heart Attack or from another NPC punching him to death due to the Fact he's a douche, the Game says "Ulrich Leland is dead, blablabla...". Well, it says nothing about you killing Leland but its all the same if you kill him or if he dies from explosive Diarrhea.

No, he's not essential at this point. Dangit to Goblin Hell!! I want him. I'm only a level 9, he's 15 levels above me, right? Even if he gets killed and I get blamed for it, i don't care. I just want him to man up and fight. I haven't gotten into the Dark Brotherhood yet, that would be one way to do it.

Is there ANY way I can make him follow me? he can follow me up to Bruma when the time is right....then he'll fight.....right???

explosive diarrhea....heehee. I bet there's a mod for that somewhere. THAT would be hilarious.

I cant find my old "toaster says share" mod, but this may do just fine. With this you should get spell witch you can cast on any NPC to recruit them. You can have them follow you around and fight alongside you, or tell them to "wait". They will wander around a bit when "waiting" and speak to other NPCs. You can access the Inventory of NPCs who like you enough like any Container. Put some Stuff in, they'll use it. Martin, Jauffre and Baurus like Heavy Armor and Swords.
